I have three topics for your consideration during these last days of one very hot summer.

Second, there is deep concern surrounding the numerous active and contained fires in our beautiful state. I encourage you to rally and contribute to the CAR Realtor Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund, which provides housing-related disaster assistance to our Colorado neighbors in need. Lastly, ABOR has officially launched our annual fundraising efforts for the 42nd annual Heldman/King Scholarship Fundraising Drive. As of 2026, we have awarded over $1 million in scholarships to deserving students throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. This year, we awarded $84,000 to 20 students—the highest amount in the history of the fund—thanks to your generosity, support, and efforts over the years. The upcoming Golf Tournament Fundraiser is on Tuesday, September 8th, at the Snowmass Club and is already SOLD OUT.
